Who is Vibhuti Gupta from KAAJ – Vibhuti Gupta?

“I am a NIFT (NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF FASHION TECHNOLOGY, the pioneering institute of fashion education ) graduate in fashion designing, a mother of 2 beautiful kids and the creative director of KAAJ-VIBHUTI GUPTA. Dressing people has always been my passion and that brought me to the start of my own fashion and apparel business. The motto for me is to believe in ” Quality and exclusivity”.
Born in 2012 in INDIA , my label focused on bringing awareness to the work of the artisans , the intricacies and with support of my small team ( tailor , embroider and master) it kicked off . Soon after, I shifted with my husband as a trailing spouse and with a new born baby went into a full time homemaker mode in 2015.
So, here I am , restarting work after 8 years of long gap in Singapore .
Being the creator, marketing person , social media manager, coordinator, my hands have been full. I am constantly juggling the art of balancing between the roles I play and literally have to be on my toes at all times. All through my years of raising my children I have always been focused on making them independent from a very young age, so when I do restarting, some hurdles are already taken care of.
With my strong belief in the almighty and a supportive partner my kids ( 8 years & 5 years now) are my biggest support pillars. Currently handling all the departments needed to run a business , it for sure is stressful, but having a supportive community around me makes the journey joyful .
The key I reconcile to break free from this stress is our goal ( as a mother /founder) , dedication and belief towards creating a life of purpose.
I know that amid the hustle of the everyday life, I am creating memories, moments with both my family and community members!

As Kajal says:
I’m Kajal, mom of 3 wonderful girls aged 19, 12 and 10. I’m a Dentist turned Fine Jewellery designer who took a leap of faith 6 years ago and never looked back.
I got into Jewellery designing and starting my own company as an outlet for my creativity that gave me the flexibility of being around for my children whenever they needed me. Like many business owners in our region, the pandemic has presented challenge after challenge. Timely production has been difficult, photoshoots have been canceled; products cannot be shipped out to specific customers due to geography, I’m running a new-ish business with two children at home who need attention. Yet despite all of this and more, our fine jewelry business has seen record sales and growth during this time and as a mother it gives me immense joy to see my children so proud to see their mother working hard and growing as an entrepreneur.
At KN we pride ourselves in our ability to breathe fresh new life into symbolic jewelry while simultaneously giving a stylish and sophisticated nod to my Nepalese roots. I often say that people wear our pieces because they’re beautiful but truly fall in love with them because the pieces are so meaningful. Whether a customer chooses a piece that is inspired by nature, celestially-inspired or one traditionally symbolic – even a simple initial earring or birthstone piece – they’re often a reminder of something special.
